The OCX Consortium is growing with MARIC as a new observer member

The Marine Design and Research Institute of China (MARIC) has joined the OCX COnsortium as an observer. The Consortium agreement was signed by Mr. Zhu, Jian Zhang, Vice President MARIC on January 19, 2024.

MARIC was founded in Shanghai in 1950. It is the earliest, biggest and one of the strongest institutes in the technology of marine design and research for merchant ships (oil tankers, container vessels, bulk carriers), dredges, and offshore projects. MARIC is a subsidiary company of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Group (CSSC).In China, many products of offshore projects that were first built were designed by MARIC.
