The OCX Interoperability Forum has been established to accelerate the delivery of production level, use-case tested functionality and cross-platform OCX-based workflows to the market

The Consortium members decided in September 2021 to establish an OCX Interoperability Forum (OCX-IF). After two years of work, the OCX-IF was formally established in August 2023 when the Interoperability and Testing agreement was signed between DNV, BV, LR, Turk Lloydu, Korean Register, NAPA, AVEVA, Hexagon, CADMATIC, AITAC, PROSTEP, Chantiers de l'Atlantique, NDAR and Kongsberg Maritime.
The OCX Interoperability Forum aims to accelerate the delivery of production level, use-case tested functionality and cross-platform OCX-based workflows to the market.
The OCX-IF is a three-party relationship between the Implementor Group, the User Group and the Standards Community:
- A User Group representing the end users
- An Implementor Group consisting of companies developing SW support for the OCX standard (CAD vendors, classification societies or PLM consultants)
- The Standards Community = OCX Consortium Full Members
