SSI joins OCX Interoperability Forum to actively drive the convergence of digital standards for 3D vessel design approval.
SSI has joined the OCX Interoperability Forum since January 2024. SSI aims to actively participate in the convergence of the OCX standard to a fully interoperable standard for 3D vessel design approval. SSI ShipConstructor already supports the creation of 3D vessel design models which will be available for export in a common file format. Class personnel can use the OCX model to complete their assessment of the design viability and its compliance with class rules.
